Intervals and Probability Distributions
Intervals have long found
application in numerical methods for manipulating the distributions of random
variables. This page contains links to resources related to this topic. Five
ways to think about problems in this area include clouds, copulas, discrete
convolutions (i.e. Cartesian products),
Scope: this Web site tries to avoid redundancy with the Imprecise Probabilities Project Web site (linked in section 4 below). The reader can find information there as well as here.
